About Feminine Genius Ministries
We are a group of registered nurses with a passion for women's health. The American Academy of Pediatrics has stated the menstrual cycle should be considered a vital sign for young women. Just as a fever can indicate infection, an irregular menstrual cycle can indicate a health problem. There is a wealth of knowledge to be found in a woman's cycle! With the development of methods such as the Marquette Model, biology meets technology and becomes a powerful tool for young women. The power of being a woman rests in understanding our innate potential. If we don’t understand our most basic biology, we are already selling ourselves short. Through fertility awareness education, women can learn about their physical health which can be a building block to then explore mental, emotional, and spiritual health. The world desperately needs the light of women who understand, love, and respect who they are-- and that begins with basic body literacy.
"The hour is coming, in fact has come, when the vocation of women is being acknowledged in its fullness, the hour in which women acquire in the world an influence, an effect and a power never hitherto achieved. That is why, at this moment when the human race is undergoing so deep a transformation, women imbued with a spirit of the Gospel can do so much to aid humanity in not falling.” (Pope St. John Paul II, Mulieris Dignitatem)
Unleashing the power of the feminine genius to rehumanize the world
To promote the understanding of female reproductive biology and authentic femininity through education of natural family planning, specifically the Marquette Model.
In response to "Mulieris Dignitatem," Feminine Genius Ministries answers the call of women to “aid humanity in not falling.”
Society has lost sight of the dignity of humanity, especially of women. People are viewed as commodities, not as unique persons created in the image and likeness of God. There is a focus on efficiency, to the extreme that humanity and dignity are forgotten.
The feminine genius can restore humanity’s understanding of inherent dignity of persons. First, a woman must understand the most basic functions of her body, including her menstrual cycle. As she understands herself physically, emotionally, and spiritually, she can then live out her authentic femininity in her unique life’s calling.
