Spreadsheet Chart Template

Charting with Google Sheets Spreadsheet Instructions

  1. Select “Open Template” in the upper right corner. You may need to first open this template on a computer. Once you have saved it to your Google Sheets drive, you should be able to open it and make edits on your phone app.

  2. Rename the title to include your name or initials. This will help your instructor find yours faster within her app.

  3. Download the Google Sheets app and sign in with your account information. You will be able to access your chart and add daily information, just as you would with an app on your phone.

  4. Customize the criteria to meet your needs within your spreadsheet. If you don't use the progesterone test strips but DO want to track your headaches, change the category. Track the fertility markers and health parameters that apply to you.

  5. Share it with your spouse and/or instructor, if you’d like.

If you want to add more cycles, there are a few options:

  • Copy and paste one of the current blank cycles to a new section below the bottom row. Note: it could become cumbersome to always have to scroll to the bottom for your most recent chart.

  • Start a new sheet and paste the blank cycle there. For example, sheet one can be cycles 1-3, sheet two can be cycles 4-6, etc. Or sheet one can be from 2019, sheet two can be from 2020, etc.

  • Save a copy of the template again. Copy and paste the blank cycles in to your current spreadsheet, as needed. (This would be most helpful if you did not have a blank cycle to copy and paste from.)
